In order for us to support your child's development in the best possible way, we employ people with different educational training backgrounds. They all attend regular further training courses, which enable them to bring new ideas and proposals to their daily work - ideas that will also benefit your child!

Ruth Lees

Joint Head of Kidstimeleeds


Ruth has a Degree of Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Accounting and Finance graduating in 1989 from Manchester Metropolitan University.


She then studied chartered accountancy passing the professional qualification in 1994.


Ruth has over 20 years business experience and has the requisite skills in reporting, systems, accounting, and cost control. She has worked in childcare since 2006 and passed Level 3 in Childcare in 2011 and Level 4 in Management in 2012. She is also a mother of 2 children.


Ruth is a director of D&R Childcare Limited.


Noreen Frost 

Joint Head of Kidstimeleeds


Noreen started at St Joseph's Primary School in 2003, the school that both of her children attended. Noreen is a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) and Designated Safeguarding Lead and has a wealth of experience working with children between the ages of 5 and 11.


In her unique role as HLTA, Noreen has built strong relationships with all age groups which has a particular benefit for those pupils attending the out of school club as there will always be a familiar face. 


Noreen is a director of D&R Childcare Limited.


Amy Ozsoy

Teaching Assistant 


Amy joined the team in 2015 and works at the breakfast club, nursery and afterclub alongside her duties as teaching assistant at St Joseph's Primary School. She is qualified in early years education and holds a level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning in schools. She is also paediatric first aid trained.


Amy has a vast experience of early learning and has trained overseas in Cambodia. During her time there, she supported children between 7 and 10 years old with their English writing and reading skills. 


Lisa Harris 

Teaching Assistant 


Lisa is an experienced Early Years Practitioner and has undertaken a number of roles within private sector nurseries and teaching. Lisa joined Kidstimeleeds in 2017 and provides wrap-around care for children from all key stages of the school.  In 2018, she acquired a level 2 certificate in teaching and learning and a qualification in child behaviour.

Together with her role at Kidstime, Lisa joined St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in 2018 as a Senior Lunchtime
Supervisor and Teaching Assistant. 


She also runs her own dance school.

Emma Lowe 

Higher Level Teaching Assistant


Emma has over 20 years experience working with school children. She has a range of qualifications in early learning, including a level 2 and 3 NVQ and foundation degree in supporting learning, alongside a higher level Teaching Assistant qualification. 


Emma is incredibly passionate about her work at St Joseph's and was delighted to join the Kidtimeleeds team several years ago.

Sally Burgon

Higher Level Teaching Assistant 


Sally has worked in the education sector for 25 years. She has gained a range of experience through her different roles, including working alongside partner organisations such as West Yorkshire Police.


Her last position before joining Kidstimeleeds in 2019 was a Student Support Officer, where she supported year 6 pupils in their transition to secondary school.
